Can-Am Powersports Vehicles

Can-Am has been in the business of manufacturing all-terrain vehicles for longer than you might think. In the late 1990s, they were known as Bombardier, a company that produced snowmobiles and personal watercraft. In 1998, they entered the ATV market with the Traxter model. In 2003, they teamed up with John Deere and merged to form BRP. These days, Can-Am manufactures everything from three-wheeled off-road vehicles to three-wheeled roadsters.

Can-Am powersports vehicles are made of cutting-edge technology and innovative design. These vehicles are perfect for professional or recreational riding. You’ll be able to take your Can-Am off-roading, dirt-bike, or ATV anywhere! You’ll love it! The range of customization options is truly impressive. From lowering the seat height to adding a steering wheel, you can customize your vehicle to fit your needs perfectly.

In 1966, Can-Am first held the SCCA Canadian American Challenge Cup. Today, Can-Am cars continue to attract fans at vintage events and other events. The series features the world’s fastest sports cars, a low-regulation environment, and minimal rules. Top road-racing drivers, such as Formula 1 and Indy-car champions, competed in Can-Am events. And even though the Can-Ams are no longer manufactured, they still draw fans to vintage events.

Although Can-Am offers multiple models, they all offer a wide range of seating options. You can choose a Can-Am vehicle with just one rider or up to six passengers. There are even models for beginners. For example, the low-cost 400cc Commander is great for beginners, while the upper-end 900cc version is great for experienced riders who want to challenge themselves. Can-Am offers a six-month warranty on its models.

Polaris has a similar engine setup, with a 925cc, liquid-cooled turbo-induced parallel twin-cylinder DOHC engine. Although Polaris is the superior vehicle, Can-Am’s quad-cylinder, 1000cc engine offers more thrills and excitement. For both Polaris and Can-Am, the X3 and RZR Turbo have the same 900cc engines, but their clutches and transmissions differ slightly.

Can-Am also makes a range of utility vehicles. UTVs are known as side-by-sides, and can be equipped to perform just about any task. One of the best-selling models, the Outlander, has almost two dozen models and several trim levels. Kids can choose the Outlander DS, a lower-powered model for children. For adults, Can-Am makes utility-terrain vehicles (UTVs) as well. The Maverick is an all-around model, and the Commander offers on-board storage.

The Can-Am Maverick was introduced in 2010. The X ds Turbo has 121 horsepower from the Rotax 1000R turbocharged engine. It is also the highest horsepower side-by-side vehicle in the market. The company also expanded their recreational side-by-side vehicle line and added the Can-Am Commander MAX Limited Model. It has since become the best-selling side-by-side vehicle. So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and start riding! You’ll be glad you did!

The Can-Am company began as a snowmobile company. The founder of the company built his first track-based snowmobile as a teenager. The company wasn’t officially named Can-Am until the 1970s. Bombardier and Polaris were rivals in this field, and Polaris was later bought by Arctic Cat. As the two companies began to collaborate, they developed off-road vehicles. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, don’t forget to check out the Ridgeback Service Body.

Although there are no clear differences between the two brands, there’s a lot of trash-talk in off-roading circles. In fact, Can-Am owners are often rivals with Polaris owners. In the end, it’s all about the fun and excitement you can get out of driving your Can-Am. You’ll probably also find many Can-Am owners arguing over who’s the better off-road vehicle.
